Founded in 1834, the City of Farmington has a long, storied history. Read about our town’s involvement in sports, the Civil War, the Underground Railroad, and more with these compiled Farmington histories!

This first document was compiled by the Farmington Bugle for the Bicentennial Celebration in Farmington on Sunday, June 27, 1976.

This next document was created for Farmington’s Sesquicentennial anniversary in 1984. It goes from before the town’s initial settlement (then known as Marchant Settlement) all the way to the “present day” in 1984.

This last document was also created for Farmington’s Sesquicentennial anniversary in 1984. This is a list of historical details about the town to test your memory…or maybe just to go down memory lane. It is aptly named “Do You Remember…”
