Sewer Service

Sewer service for the City is provided by the Farmington Sanitary District and arrangements for new sewer service can be made by contacting the City of Farmington at 309-245-2011.

Water Service

Illinois American Water has provided the City of Farmington with water service since 2018. Illinois American Water is the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water and/or wastewater services to approximately 1.3 million people. American Water also operates a customer service center in Alton and a quality control and research laboratory in Belleville.
